Welcome to this new Series on "Daily Qi Gong"
This series is a continuation of the previously filmed material of the so called "Lock Down Qi Gong" Series, which we filmed in November 2020. If you have missed those classes, please check out the Playlist "Lock Down Qi Gong" on my YouTube channel and start with Episode #1.
Today, we will continue to practice our full sequence, including the warm up and the self massage at the end. But let's talk a bit about hierarchy in your Qi Gong Practice.
Not everyday comes with the same spare time for practice. I always plan my practice sessions ahead of time. And I defend it with all my might. But sometimes, life is too pressing. So we need to adjust.
The most important thing is that we maintain at least a bare minimum of daily practice. To strengthen the habit. Here is my recommendation:
If you have 5 minutes to spare: Just practice Wu Ji Posture.
10 Minutes: Do 5 Minutes of Wu Ji Posture and add 5 Minutes of the Internal Shower.
20 Minutes: Practice the full sequence, 9 reps of each exercise.
25-30 Minutes: Go ahead and practice the full sequence, including Warm Up and Self Massage. And if you want to practice even longer, just add a few minutes extra on the Xia An Shi Standing Meditation at the end.
But don't go too long. Keep a gentle focus. The next session will drip on Tuesday this week.
